Icelandic Sheepdogs - Gledi and Kaepa - First Six Months

Kaepa and Gledi fra Thyturstadir, born 4/24/2003, were bred by Ans C. Beer-Shell in The Netherlands. They were the last litter bred by Ms. Beer-Schell. They were brought to the United States later that same year. Their first human companion was killed in an automobile accident on 12 June 2009. Gledi and Kaepa were sent to a foster home on 14 June 2009. They were adopted into their current home on 9 February 2010. The photos in this slideshow were taken between 31 Jan 2010 and 1 Aug 2010, the first six months in their new (hopefully forever) home.
